Brow lamination softens the brow hairs and sets them in the direction you want. In Turkish it's sometimes called "brow botox" — it has nothing to do with botox; it is a chemical redirection.
What it solves
*Unruly brows that grow upward.* This is where it is most effective. For someone who uses gel or soap every morning, lamination removes a step from the routine for six weeks.
*The look of gaps.* When hairs are directed upward, the space beneath closes and the brow reads fuller. Note the wording: no hair is added; existing hair is positioned more efficiently.
*Asymmetry.* A difference in direction between the two brows can be corrected.
What it doesn't solve
A genuinely empty area. If the tail has shed completely or years of removal have thinned it permanently, lamination cannot fill that. There we talk about microblading or microshading.
Process and duration
The treatment takes 45-60 minutes: the hair is softened, directed, set and finished with a nourishing step. Brow design and tinting usually happen in the same session, because the shape reads far more clearly after lamination.
It lasts four to six weeks. Repeating it too often (intervals shorter than three weeks) dries the hair out; we don't book it sooner than six weeks apart.
The first 24 hours
Don't wet it, avoid steam, don't rub the brow and don't apply products. In the following days, a drop of brow serum or castor oil each evening keeps the hair soft.
Who it isn't suitable for
We postpone it where there is active eczema, a wound, very sensitive skin or recent permanent makeup in the brow area. We avoid it during pregnancy.
