تنظيف الرؤوس السوداء: لماذا يترك الضغط في المنزل آثارًا؟

المشكلة ليست في إخراج الرأس الأسود بل فيما يحدث للنسيج حوله.

Fifteen minutes in front of the mirror, a red nose, and a small mark on that spot a few days later. Very familiar. Here's why.

What is a blackhead?

A mix of sebum and dead skin blocking a pore. The black colour doesn't come from dirt but from oil oxidising in contact with air. So it isn't a "dirty skin" problem; it's about pore size and oil production.

Three problems with squeezing at home

*The pressure lands in the wrong place.* Squeezing with fingers puts pressure on the tissue around the pore rather than its opening. Capillaries break, causing redness and sometimes a permanent red mark.

*The content doesn't come out fully.* The lower part of the plug stays in the pore and refills within days. That's why the same spot occupies you for weeks.

*Bacteria get carried in.* Nails and fingers transfer bacteria into the pore, and a blackhead can turn into an inflamed spot.

What's different in the studio?

The pore is first opened with steam and softening products — which prepares the plug to come out and greatly reduces the pressure needed. Extraction is done with a sterile tool at the right angle, not with fingers. Then comes a pore-refining, soothing step, so redness settles within an hour or two.

How often?

Every three to four weeks for oily skin, every six for combination skin. More often strains the pore opening.

What to do at home

A gentle cleanser with salicylic acid twice a week dissolves oil inside the pore and slows the build-up. Brushes, harsh scrubs and nose strips aren't a good idea: the first two irritate, the third only takes the surface tip.

One rule: keep your hands off your face. It's the hardest one.
